Special Features

Semester System
In time with the academic apex bodies the continuous evaluation process i.e., semester system with internal assessment examinations twice in semester has been introduced in all courses. This helps the students to learn the subject in quick succession keeping themselves busy through out academic sessions. For the semester end examinations question paper setting and valuations is done by the external examiners only.
International Students Centre (ISC)
Foreign students should send copies of certificates of their qualifying examination passed along with copies of Passport and filled-in application form through our college website. US $ 100 should be paid for application fee.
After confirmation of their admission, guidance and counselling is provided to join suitable courses of their choice and hostel facilities required for their comfortable stay, study and boarding keeping in view of residential permit and food of their choice and taste. The ISC would render assistance and necessary institutional help, if needed.
Introduction of Specialisations in M.B.A. and M.C.A.
After getting Autonomy, we are proposing to introduce new and innovative specializations in M.B.A. Programme to meet the needs of student community which will help them in finding better placements. In this aspect we are introducing the following industry specializations in addition to the regular curricula and electives in M.B.A. programme.
1. Tourism & Hospitality Management
2. Hospital Management
3. Banking & Insurance
4. Retail Management

First one is compulsory for all in the first year, where as remaining out of all above students have to choose one industry specialisation in the final year (3rd and 4th Semesters). Similarly, we are also to introducing specializations in M.C.A. course in addition to regular curricula and electives, i.e., Multimedia & Application Development, Human Computer Interaction.
Concepts of Clinical Research
Concepts of Clinical Research (CCR) was introduced in the curricula of the M.Sc. courses as it is in demand by industries. It is inexpensive for students to study CCR in our college as no extra fee is collected from them. This special training helps to expedite the clinical trial process by the industry and to facilitate documentation of training in an automated, easy-to-use database. Ours is the first college to introduce Concepts of Clinical Research in the curriculum. Our students find jobs as Clinical Research Administrators, Clinical Coordinators, Clinical Programmers,
Biostatisticians, Clinical Data Specialists, Drug Experience Coordinators, Clinical Research Associates, Animal Handlers, Animal Technicians and Technical Writers.
Project
M.Sc. students are encouraged to undertake rural based scientific research work contained with socially relevant extension work.

Seminars
Seminars are part of our curriculum Our students of Pharmacy, Engineering , P.G., BBM and BBA must have to participate in seminars once in a week. Students go through latest reference material from library and internet to prepare for seminar talks. Students are expected to take advantage of the opportunity given to them to deliver seminar talks to improve their presentation skills with power point and to actively participate on or across the platform. Fundamental concepts get understood, doubts get clarified and knowledge is updated through interactive sessions and group discussions.

B.Sc. B.Com. students will have to present seminars compulsarily on 5th of every month.

Publications
The Department of Business Management brought out a Bi-Annual Journal on Management Education and Research entitled 'PRAKARSHA' and 'PRAGATHI' Placement Brochures for MBA and MCA. ‘Chaitanya News’ an annual feature is broughtout every
year giving the details of the college functions and its activities.

TOEFL

Our College has been recognized as TOEFL Test Centre by ETS-IBT, New Delhi.

Students’ Council

Students’ Council consists of two top meritorious students (one from male and one from female) from each class, who are nominated as class representatives. The Principal and Management periodically discuss with the Students’ Council regarding their common problems. Meetings with class representatives are held frequently where they are free to express their problems.

Spoken English and Communication Skills
The college offers programmes to improve communication skills and spoken english guided by faculty with the help of computer-interfaced language lab (listen-records, compare, monitor and intercommunicate type). They enable the students to communicate well when they face interviews. They can also get through tests like TOEFL and IELTS without difficulty when they need to pass these tests to be qualified to apply to institutes abroad. In order to improve the communication skills, soft skills and personality development of our students the institutions conducted programmes by Globarena Technologies, Hyderabad.

Complaints and Suggestions Box
The students are encouraged to express freely their issues and academic problems by dropping in the box any of their complaints or suggestions. The management takes care to look into them and do the needful.

Study / Educational / Industrial Tours and visits
Tours are conducted for each course to provide chance to visit concerned places of interest. Students are taken to industries and national level R&D institutes within India.

Rewards for meritorious students
The students who secure the highest marks in each programme at masters level are awarded gold medals.
